Tuscaloosa, AL – McAbee Construction, Inc. (McAbee), an industrial contractor in Tuscaloosa, has announced updates to its leadership effective October 1, 2024. Ken Todd has been named President and Lee Bailey has been named Executive Vice President. Wendell McAbee, former President and COO has retained his position as COO.
Ken Todd launched his career with McAbee as a Project Manager Assistant in 2003. Todd was most recently named Executive Vice President and General Manager in 2021. He has managed some of McAbee’s largest projects and will lead the industrial contractor’s growth strategy and senior leadership. Todd is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama.
Lee Bailey joined McAbee as an Assistant Project Manager in 2003 before working his way to his most recent role as Vice President, Operations & Finance in 2021. His experience in project management and operations has positioned him to lead McAbee’s day-to-day operations ensuring effective strategic planning and management. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
